It is a new womb, an anatomically accurate sculpture of a healthy uterus, at fertile age and its hyperbolised version. Firstly, commissioned and made for educational purposes, these sculptures raised a creative paradox between function and form. The answer was found in the piece's profoundly expressive and creational nature. The result was to make the commissioned set and a personal archival set to hold, exhibit and love.
