Love Is Loud

And I Am Sound Interactive textile sculpture made to touch and to sound when activated by the bond between humans in a circuit enclosing bodies and sculpture. From the idea that it is impossible to love in complete secrecy, all love is loud and that bodies change when they become a vehicle of desire, touch, and care, echoing waves perceivable to the senses.

Exhibited during the urban art fest Jardins Efémeros (Viseu, 2018) and at the solo exhibition Sana Vinculum (Covilhã, 2019) at the Museum Real Fabrica de lanifícios.

Wool, hand felted and sculpted, embedded with interactive electronic. Arduino, customized sensors, synthesizer and speakers. Physical computing based on an integrated circuit which measures the intensity of touch and turns it to sound waves.
